The goal of True Teen Politics, is to educate America’s youth about current events in politics with the added gift of my thoughts and ideas on the situation. My name is Tyler Lopez, I am 17, and I am a high school student in upstate New York. Though I was born and raised in New York, a very blue state, I tend to lea towards Republican views on most of the controversial conversations today that are in the media. I think it is important that the teens in America, especially where I am from, take it upon themselves to learn more about issues that not only affect their parents but them as well. Mind you, I don’t have any degrees, I don’t have as much experience with politics as many other people do, I am simply starting this site to start a conversation.
